How it started

Enough about me—let's talk about how photography became my passion. My journey truly began when I received my first real camera, a Canon T6 Rebel, from Santa in 2016. From that moment, I was hooked. I started capturing everything around me, eventually moving on to photographing friends and charging a modest $50 per session, delivering every photo via Google Drive.

Over time, I evolved both in skill and business practice. I transitioned to using Pixieset for delivering high-quality galleries and refined my approach. Despite the learning curve, one thing remained constant: my vision for Photography by Marti Jo—to create and capture your precious moments. Throughout this journey, I've been immensely grateful for the support of my family and every client who trusted me to capture their memories. Each session and every delivered gallery reinforced my belief in the depth and emotion that photography can convey.
